Doug Wright

Doug is one of the Cleveland 4, sentenced to 11 and a half years after FBI entrapment stemming from Occupy Cleveland.

It was during the reign of Ronald Reagan, a decade that signaled the rapid decline of all that still lay natural, sane, and pure.  Central America was brutalized, unions were busted, record number of millionaires became billionaires, punk rock took the offensive, and on May 31, 1985 Douglas Wright entered this world.                            

Brian "Jacob" Church

Jacob was one of the NATO 3, accused of making molotovs and of saying that they planned to use them to attack police stations, a Democratic Party campaign office, and the mayor’s home during the NATO summit. They were set up by informant(s).

Rafil Dhafir, Dr.

Dr. Rafil A. Dhafir is an American Iraqi-born physician, who was targeted along with many other Muslims post 9/11 in the Bush administration’s “War on Terrorism.”  He started the charity Help the Needy, to respond to the humanitarian crisis created by the Gulf War and US Sanctions on Iraq.  The US government originally charged the charity and Dhafir with violations of the US sanctions.  When he refused a plea bargain, the government falsely charged the charity with fraud, money laundering, tax evasion and a variety of other nonviolent crimes.

Damiano Bolano

Damiano Bolano was wanted for his participation in CCF since September 2009. He was arrested on 14/03/2011, along with another four members of the group, after a raid by the special police forces and Anti-terrorist agency in the house they were living in Volos. He is prosecuted for “Volos case,” for involvement with explosives and guns, founded in the possession of other people accused of being members of CCF (arrests in Pireus and Kallithea), for the case concerning the shipping of 14 parcel-bombs and for the “case concerning 250 attacks of CCF."

Edward “Eddie” Goodman Africa

Eddie is a member of the MOVE 9 caught in the police raid of the MOVE house where he and eight others were wrongfully convicted of the murder of a police officer who was killed by friendly fire during the raid. He has served 40 years in prison despite his innocence, and is a loving father and grandfather who deserves to be reunited with his family. He mentors other fathers in prison and helps them maintain relationships with their children and families despite incarceration. In May 2018, Debbie Africa was freed on parole, followed by Mike Africa freed on parole that October.

Francesco Carrieri

Francesco, one of the comrades arrested following the events on October 15 2011 in Rome, has been accused of breaking his bail conditions and sent back to jail. Three months later released on house arrest again.
