Tamaz Pipiya

Tamaz is an antifascist from Minsk and a fan of the football club “MTZ-RIPO.” He was detained on 26 September 2020 on suspicion of organizing mass riots on September 23 during the inauguration of Lukashenko. The charges were brought under part 2 of article 293 (participation in mass riots).

On 2 July 2021, sentenced to 5 years in prison.

Timur Pipiya

Timur is an antifascist from Minsk and a fan of the football club “MTZ-RIPO.” He was detained on 25 September 2020 on suspicion of organizing mass riots on September 23 during Lukashenko’s inauguration. He was charged under part 1 of article 342 (organization and preparation of actions that grossly violate public order or active participation in them), organising mass riots (art. 293.1) and using violence against the police (art. 364).

On 2 July 2021 sentenced to 6 years and 2 months in prison.

Jessica Reznicek

Jessica is a land and water defender who has worked with and lived in the Des Moines Catholic Worker community for 10 years. In 2016, Jessica took a stand against the construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline. Jessica and her fellow organizers attended public comment hearings, gathered signatures for valid requests for Environmental Impact Statements, and participated in civil disobedience, hunger strikes, marches and rallies, boycotts and encampments. 

Ryan Roberts

Ryan was arrested with over 75 people after the confrontation with the police at Bristol’s Bridewell police station at the Kill the Bill demonstration on March 21st 2021. He was convicted of riot and four counts of arson, and sentenced on the 17th December 2021 at Bristol Crown Court to a total of 14 years in prison. Three of the sentences run consecutively and only one concurrently, hence the brutal sentence of 14 years. As it is over seven years, it means he has to do two-thirds of the sentence (9 years and 4 months).

Mauro Rossetti Busa

Mauro was sentenced to 12 years of imprisonment for fire, evasion and manufacture of explosive material, threats and with the aggravating circumstance of recidivism and social danger. The original attacks took place in the vicinity of the Casapound headquarters and to the Eni gas distributor in Sant’Anna in 2018. The Eni distributor, the multinational is for some time in the sights of anarchists for activities abroad, and a building near the Casapound headquarters. His sentence was commuted to 7 years, 9 months and 10 days.

Giovanni Barcia

In the case of the Cordoba 4 the Malaga court of appeal sentenced the anarchists Giovanni Barcia, Michele Pontolillo and Claudio Lavazza, already sentenced to 11 years on September 1999, for an incident in the Italian vice-consulate in December 1996. Three persons wearing balaclavas imprisoned the consul and an employee, sending a message of solidarity to the Italian prisoners jailed by Judge Marini (the judge who built a false accusation against Italian anarchists) and disappeared with passports and some money.

Kostantinos "Kostas" Sakkas

Kostas was arrested on December 4, 2010 in the Nea Smirni case (possession of weapons and explosives). In January 2014, he was released on bail and went on the run. In December 2014 he was sentenced in absentia to 16 years. He was rearrested with Marios Seisidis in August 2016 and sentenced to 2 years and 9 months for using forged documents and car registration plates, car theft and disobedience to authorities.
