Tamaz Pipiya

Tamaz Pipiya is an antifascist from Minsk and a fan of the football club “MTZ-RIPO”. He was detained on 26 September 2020 on suspicion of organizing mass riots on September 23 during the inauguration of Lukashenko. The charges were brought under part 2 of article 293 (participation in mass riots).

On 2 July 2021, sentenced to 5 years in prison.

Timur Pipiya

Timur Pipiya – antifascist from Minsk and a fan of the football club “MTZ-RIPO”. He was detained on 25 September 2020 on suspicion of organizing mass riots on September 23 during Lukashenko’s inauguration. He was charged under part 1 of article 342 (organization and preparation of actions that grossly violate public order or active participation in them), organising mass riots (art. 293.1) and using violence against the police (art. 364).

On 2 July 2021 sentenced to 6 years and 2 months in prison.

Dan Baker

Dan Baker is a social justice activist and former army vet. He went AWOL instead of fighting in Iraq, and then took his training to help defend Rojava with the International Freedom Battalion and was featured on VICE. Dan was also active during the George Floyd Rebellion and took part in CHAZ. He was arrested on January 15th, 2021 after the FBI compiled social media posts related to Trump supporters' actions on inauguration day to build a criminal case against him.

Jessica Reznicek

Jessica is a land and water defender who has worked with and lived in the Des Moines Catholic Worker community for 10 years. In 2016, Jessica took a stand against the construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline. Jessica and her fellow organizers attended public comment hearings, gathered signatures for valid requests for Environmental Impact Statements, and participated in civil disobedience, hunger strikes, marches and rallies, boycotts and encampments. 

Ryan Roberts

Ryan was arrested with over 75 people after the confrontation with the police at Bristol’s Bridewell police station at the Kill the Bill demonstration on March 21st 2021. He was convicted of riot and four counts of arson, and sentenced on the 17th December 2021 at Bristol Crown Court to a total of 14 years in prison. Three of the sentences run consecutively and only one concurrently, hence the brutal sentence of 14 years. As it is over seven years, it means he has to do two-thirds of the sentence (9 years and 4 months).

Vincenzo Vecchi

Vinchenzo was arrested on August 8, 2019 in France, after being at large. In July 2012 he was sentenced in absentia by the Italian Supreme Court to 11 years and 6 months in prison for the clashes during G8 protests in 2001 and an unauthorized anti-fascist protest in Milano in 2006. Italy has been seeking to extradite him from France to serve his sentence but this has thus far been denied.
