Joseph "Joe" Dibee

Joe is an alleged member of the Earth Liberation Front and Animal Liberation Front, was arrested in Cuba in August 2018 and is now being held in Oregon. He is facing federal criminal charges in Oregon, California, and Washington related to acts of economic sabotage against a horsemeat-packing facility, an old-growth timber company, and other operations harming animals and the environment. He “disappeared” in 2005 before a federal grand jury indicted Dibee and 12 others as part of Operation Backfire, an FBI investigation into animal and earth liberation groups.

Gage Halupowski

Gage was arrested at a counter demonstration against a far-right rally in Portland, Oregon on June 29th, 2019 and had been locked up at the local county jail since that day with a high bail. Then on November 1st Gage accepted a non-cooperation plea deal, plead guilty to an assault charge, and was sentenced to nearly 6 years in prison. On November 29th Gage arrived at the prison where he’ll most likely be doing the majority of his time in Ontario, Oregon which is out by the Idaho border.

David Campbell

David Campbell is being unjustly imprisoned for events that unfolded at the protest of a New York City alt-right event on January 20, 2018.

A lover of language and the arts, David was two weeks away from moving to Paris to study French translation. It was his commitment to antifascism and his community that brought him out to the protest that night.

Eric Hancock

In late April 2019, Eric Hancock accepted a sentence of one year imprisonment on a single charge of unlawful wounding, a class 6 felony in Virginia, in a non-cooperating plea agreement. The decision to accept this plea came after a year awaiting trial. Initially charged with both malicious wounding and aggravated malicious wounding, Eric faced a mandatory 25 years in a state that does not offer parole.

Dzmitry Palijenka

Dzmitry Palijenka was detained on March 20, 2019 on suspicion of committing a crime under part 3 of Article 339 of the Criminal Code (“Extremely gross misconduct”). He was accused of pepper spraying a drunk man at the entrance of the block of flats where the activist was expecting a friend. The man tried to warn him against smoking and initiated the conflict. Only a week later the police raided Dzmitry’s flat and detained him.

Alessandro "Sandro" Mercogliano

Sandro was arrested as part of Operation Scripta Manent, and sentenced to 5 years for participation in a “subversive association with terrorist purposes.”

On November 24, 2020, in the bunker room of the prison Le Vallette in Turin the result of appeal was issued against 23 anarchists accused in the “Scripta Manent” trial. Sandro was acquitted of all charges and released.
