26 year old Kyree Robertson was sentenced in July 2021 to 23 months for riot charges from May 2020 in Grand Rapids. Kyree was held without bond and received a significantly different sentence than others convicted of riot charges, with his family commenting to media at the time of his sentencing that they had expected him to be sentenced to time served and to come home in July.
