Operation Outlaw

On April 6th, 2011, more than 300 officers were employed in an “anti-terrorism” operation named ‘Outlaw Operation’ carried out in 16 different cities including Bologna, where police arrested 5 activists close to the squatted social centre Fuoriluogo and shut down the place. Another person was arrested in the nearby town of Ferrara and released straight after interrogation. Seven other people are under banning orders which restrict their movements and are also being investigated. The comrades imprisoned in Bologna can be written at:

Pierloreto "Paska" Fallanca

Paska was arrested as part of Operazione Panico and charged with attempted murder because of the wounding of the bomb disposal engineer Mario Vece, fabrication, detention and transportation of explosive devices, aggravated damage for the throwing of incendiary bottles against the Carabinieri barracks. 

He was sentenced to 10 and a half years (also included in the association since November 2016), and was transferred to house arrest in June 2019.

Giovanni "Giova" Ghezzi

Giova was arrested as part of Operazione Panico and charged with attempted murder because of the wounding of the bomb disposal engineer Mario Vece, fabrication, detention and transportation of explosive devices, aggravated damage for the throwing of incendiary bottles against the Carabinieri barracks.

He was sentenced to 11 years  (also accused of having become chief organizer of the association since January 2017), and transferred to house arrest in June 2019.

Salvatore "Ghespe" Vespertino

Arrested as part of Operazione Panico, Ghespe was charged with attempted murder because of the wounding of the bomb disposal engineer Mario Vece, fabrication, detention and transportation of explosive devices, aggravated damage for the throwing of incendiary bottles against the Carabinieri barracks.

He was sentenced to 10 years, and released to house arrest on June 21, 2019.

Operation Panic

Florence, April 21, 2016: someone attacked the carabinieri barracks in Rovezzano, the Florentine suburbs, with a molotov.

Florence, January 1, 2017: an explosive device placed outside the bookshop “Il Bargello” run by neo-fascists group Casa Pound explodes in the hands of a policeman who is severely injured.

Miguel Ángel Peralta Betanzos

Miguel's community has an important history of anarchist struggle and he joined it. The struggle is for usos y costumbres [indigenous social and organizational practices] and to prevent the removal of natural resources from the community, etc. In Mexico, the matter of political parties is very complicated. There are political parties with strong criminal histories, such as the PRI. The PRI is one of the political parties inside of Eloxochitlán.

Davide Delogu

Davide is an anarchist from Sardinia. He was arrested in 2010 and sentenced to 18 years in prison on charges of theft and attempted homicide allegedly of someone who was trying to stop him from leaving the scene of a robbery. In 2011 made an unsuccessful attempt to run away from prison and has another case started because of it. On May 1, 2017 made another attempt to escape from prison, but failed again. He was put in isolation for half a year, and the anarchist went on hunger strike.

Evgeny Karakashev

On February 1, 2018, Karakashev was detained, and on February 2, 2018, arrested on suspicion of committing crimes under Part 1 of Art. 282 (the incitement of hatred and enmity) and Part 2 of Art. 205.2 (public calls for terrorism) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. According to the investigation, Karakashev published a video on one of his pages in social network «VKontakte» at the end of 2014, which allegedly calls for terrorism.
