Dzmitry Palijenka

Dzmitry Palijenka was detained on March 20, 2019 on suspicion of committing a crime under part 3 of Article 339 of the Criminal Code (“Extremely gross misconduct”). He was accused of pepper spraying a drunk man at the entrance of the block of flats where the activist was expecting a friend. The man tried to warn him against smoking and initiated the conflict. Only a week later the police raided Dzmitry’s flat and detained him.

Alessandro "Sandro" Mercogliano

Sandro was arrested as part of Operation Scripta Manent, and sentenced to 5 years for participation in a “subversive association with terrorist purposes.”

On November 24, 2020, in the bunker room of the prison Le Vallette in Turin the result of appeal was issued against 23 anarchists accused in the “Scripta Manent” trial. Sandro was acquitted of all charges and released.

Pierloreto "Paska" Fallanca

Paska was arrested as part of Operazione Panico and charged with attempted murder because of the wounding of the bomb disposal engineer Mario Vece, fabrication, detention and transportation of explosive devices, aggravated damage for the throwing of incendiary bottles against the Carabinieri barracks. 

He was sentenced to 10 and a half years (also included in the association since November 2016), and was transferred to house arrest in June 2019.

Giovanni "Giova" Ghezzi

Giova was arrested as part of Operazione Panico and charged with attempted murder because of the wounding of the bomb disposal engineer Mario Vece, fabrication, detention and transportation of explosive devices, aggravated damage for the throwing of incendiary bottles against the Carabinieri barracks.

He was sentenced to 11 years  (also accused of having become chief organizer of the association since January 2017), and transferred to house arrest in June 2019.

Salvatore "Ghespe" Vespertino

Arrested as part of Operazione Panico, Ghespe was charged with attempted murder because of the wounding of the bomb disposal engineer Mario Vece, fabrication, detention and transportation of explosive devices, aggravated damage for the throwing of incendiary bottles against the Carabinieri barracks.

He was sentenced to 10 years, and released to house arrest on June 21, 2019.

Álvaro Sebastián Ramírez

Álvaro, originally from the community of Llano Maguey, municipality of San Agustín Loxicha, district of Pochutla, state of Oaxaca, 52 years old, Zapotec indigenous political prisoner and conscience, currently held in the Central Penitentiary of Ixcotel, Oaxaca , sentenced to 29 years in prison for the crimes of Homicide Qualified, Attempted Homicide, Terrorism and Conspiracy.
 

He worked in the teaching from 1977 to 1986.
 

Abraham Cortés Ávila

Abraham is a youth from the city of Oaxaca who was arrested on October 2, 2013 in Mexico City during a march commemorating the massacre of thousands of students on October 2, 1968 in Mexico City. Every year there is a march, lifting up the student struggles in the city. And on that occasion Abraham wasn’t planning on going to the march. He’s an artisan and he went to buy some things in the city center for his work. He saw the march and said, “Of course I’ll join because it’s important.”
